LBJ: The Disappointment...

The moment i heard those words, my heart sank.
"...I'm going to take my talent to South Beach..."
NO! This can't be! As appealing as playing for Los Heat might seem to The King, I don't think that's where he should have gone. Granted, having 3 all-star caliber players doesn't seem like it will hurt them, I think it will in the long run. Having 3 players take up most of your salary cap doesn't sound like a good business investment. Now they have about 9 roster spots to fill with their remaining 5 million-ish? Good luck getting any talent for that amount. This, and the fact that the new "Big 3" will be required to play about 40+ minutes per game for the whole season. And what if one (or more) of them get hurt? This puts and even bigger burden on the remaining players, who I'm assuming are already the new favorites to win it all this year. This could be a major train-wreck waiting to happen.

He doesn't look too happy if you ask me...

But who gets the ball in their hands when it matters most. Wade wants it, but so does James. Will this cause cause conflict between teammates? A possible mid-season fallout, all over who takes the final shot in those crucial moments? Once again, I dont think this was the right move for James. The Decision has been made, and only time will tell if this move pays off. Or if it is the biggest flop in sports history...

Im still holding on the hopes that the contract negotiations go horribly wrong, and he goes to Chicago :-)

Update: The contract has been signed...
